 Oh my, that's unsightly!
Oh my, that's unsightly!
I was browsing soapboxes one dia a few months atrás when I came across a drinking game set around the show Supernatural, written por Bealoser. This made me remember a time from high school when my best friend and I participated in a Buffy drinking game(bad girls, i know!). Our only criteria for taking a shot was when a vampire was slain or we spotted a visible bra strap, the latter being fairly often considering that it was an episode from either season 2 or season 3.

While browsing link, I realized that there were countless things in Buffy that could trigger a drink, so I started composição literária down all of the ones that I could think of. I just wanted to share them with all of you. There are no doubt many possible triggers that will be left out. It was a long running show with rich characters and inventive plots, I would have to be a Buffy scholar to tag them all!

Now, there are so many possible triggers, that you should probably choose only 2-3, and be sure that they're episode appropriate. If you choose too many, you will end up beyond wasted. My friend and I were pretty much toasted just from the slayings and bra straps on display in one episode. A good idea would also be to decide whether you'll be consuming shots or drinks per trigger. Shots are a lot mais potent, so you may want to save them for the triggers that you feel will be mais rare, or avoid them entirely. Be sure to drink responsibly with a designated driver or somewhere that you'll be for the night. And have fun!

There are some general triggers that will work with almost any episode of Buffy. Note that I say "almost" because exceptions always apply. Here they are:

General Triggers

.Whenever someone slays a vampire.

.Whenever someone says, "Vamp".

.Whenever a character creates a new adjective por adding a y to an existing word.

.Whenever Giles cleans his glasses

.Whenever Willow computer hacks.

.Whenever Spike uses British slang.

.Whenever Buffy pouts.

.Whenever Buffy touches her lover's face.

.Whenever Buffy and angel have a tear-filled interlude.

As new characters, settings, and storylines come and go, so do the triggers. There are a lot of great consistencies if you break it down season por season. So I did!

Season 1

.Whenever you see a bra strap showing.

.Whenever angel says something cryptic.

.Whenever Cordelia insults someone.

.Whenever Willow stutters.

Season 2

.Whenever you see a bra strap showing.

.Whenever Willow stutters.

Season 3

.Whenever you see a bra strap showing.

.Whenever Cordelia insults someone.

.Whenever Willow stutters.

.Whenever Snyder abuses authority.

.Whenever Dingos Ate My Baby is referenced or plays at the Bronze.

.Whenever angel appears topless.

.Whenever Faith calls someone por a nickname.

.Whenever Faith says "5X5".

.Whenever Xander drools over a girl.

Season 4

.Whenever the Scoobies are shown walking to class.

.Whenever Professor Walsh talks down to someone.

.Whenever Riley goes Commando.

.Whenever Spike is shown topless.

.Whenever Buffy and Spike have sex.

.Whenever Willow abuses magic.

Season 7

.Whenever Dawn whines or screams.

.Whenever Anya references sex.

.Whenever a potential whines.

.Whenever Buffy gives a speech.

.Whenever Spike gives a speech.

.Whenever Willow refuses to do magic.

.Whenever Kennedy bosses someone around.

.Whenever Andrew references something geeky.

That's all I've got for now, I hope you liked it. I'm sure as you read this you thought of a ton of things that I've left out. Be sure to let me know what they are! Thanks for reading. =D

The friends episode titled The One Where Chandler Can't Cry, included a scene in which Phoebe's sister, Ursula Buffay starred as Buffay the Vampire Layer (parodying Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and perhaps alluding to real life Buffy adult parodies). Ursula Buffay uses her twin sister Phoebe's name for the credits.

The Simpsons episode, "Treehouse of Horror XVI" originally aired in the US six days after Halloween. The last of three segments was entitled, "I've Grown a Costume on Your Face" and had similarities with the Buffy episode "Halloween" (which had aired eight years earlier):...

I have read many opinions regarding the breakup of vampire slayer Buffy Summers and her Season Four/Season Five boyfriend, Riley Finn on many discussion forums, blogs and message boards about ”BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER”. The prevailing viewpoint seemed to be that Riley had ruined the relationship with his behavior and attitude in Season Five. I might be one of the few fãs of the show who might harbor another opinion. Then again, I might not. Let me explain.

At the end of Season Three, Buffy’s vampire paramour – angel – had decided it would be safer for her if he left Sunnydale and...
