Neither. Spike gets blown up in Sunnydale and Buffy goes on to live a normal life after Willow casts a spell to make all women able to stand up for themselves and be like Slayers. Buffy and angel do not get back together either. angel stays in LA fighting the evil there and Spike is ressurected and fights at anjos side for the last season of Angel.

Well if you follow the comics, Spike and Buffy is mais likely to happen than Buffy and Angel, especially after Season 8.

well if you follow the comics which is a continuation of the series spike and buffy are mais the end game it just going to take awhile because spike has been through alot since he got his soul and buffy has since the hellmouth was gone thanks to spike.
