C's bring back West

At the 2007 NBA Draft, the Celtics shipped Delonte West out to Seattle in a package deal for raio, ray Allen and Glen Davis, helping to shape the Big Three that would go on to win Boston's 17th championship banner the following season. Now, three summers later, the C's have West back to cadastrar-se Allen, Davis and the rest of the core chase down Banner 18.

Boston announced on Wednesday that it has signed the free agent guard to a contract, giving the Celtics a total of 17 players who are on track to be in training camp later this month. West has career averages of 9.9 PPG, 3.1 RPG and 3.7 APG over six NBA seasons and shot at least 38.9 percent from 3-point range during his last two seasons in Cleveland.
