Shug is/was amazing! It's realistic fiction, and it's the author's debut. It's about a 12-year-old girl who goes through tons of changes when she enters middle school in the small country town Clementen. It had very good writing skills, and although it sounds like the most unoriginal plot in the universe, you won't be thinking that when you finish!
