In 2009, at the height of Jonas Brothers escalating popularity and produced a 3D show, concerto movie, Nickelodeon decided to cancelar Naked Brothers Band and even worst they decided to disband them. As a result only the name of the band was not used and they uses "Nat and Alex" as a new and independent band.

In 2013, history almost repeated itself. The same thing happened this time instead of Jonas Brothers, it is the British boyband One Direction. And BTR fãs started to speculate if Big Time Rush will be disbanded because of this coincidental patterns, their TV show ended and solo projects came in...
