Nickelodeon orders 3rd season of Big Time Rush!

Nickelodeon has ordered a third season of “Big Time Rush,” its popular series about a created-for-TV band. Think “The Monkees” – just with actors who can really sing.

The network has picked up another 20 episodes of the show, which just completed production on the segundo season. Production on the new episodes will begin in January, perhaps after a TV movie, and air sometime during the first quarter of seguinte year. “It’s sad to end production, but we got the great news about the third season,” says cast member Carlos Pena.

While we are waiting for the results of the Brilhante Victoria soundtrack on Aug. 11. I wrote today about the horrendous performance of the past Nickelodeon soundtracks before BTR came in and changed the perception that only disney can dominated the charts and earn Gold/Platinum album. We know iCarly, Naked Brother Band, Spectacular, etc. soundtracks failed to make it to the topo, início 10 in the Billboard 200 charts even worse not getting a Gold record award por RIAA.
