As a result only the name of the band was not used and they uses "Nat and Alex" as a new and independent band.
In 2013, history almost repeated itself. The same thing happened this time instead of Jonas Brothers, it is the British boyband One Direction. And BTR fãs started to speculate if Big Time Rush will be disbanded because of this coincidental patterns, their TV show ended and solo projects came in like (Heffron Drive, Carlos' Electrico single and first lead role in a movie) but last November, the boys announced their new tour (Texas and Latin America) which started few weeks atrás and still kept their band name. In recent twitter and facebook announcement, Kendall said that the band is not breaking up.
