Can vampiros eat comida as well? Or do they get sick?

They can andorinha the comida but they won't digest it. Like in the first book when Edward ate a bite of Bella's pizza he had to cough it back up later. They all think comida it pretty gross too. (Like us eating dirt.)

well, edward did eat a slice of cold pizza with charlie in eclipse, right? or am i just dreaming?
