I personally wouldn't say that women talk mais on the whole; but rather that the situations in which we talk, and the relationships that we form as a result of talking, is altogether different to men. When two men meet, it's often outside of the início (at work, in a pub etc), which means a lot of the personal side of a relationship is left out. A man can talk to another man and perhaps have nothing in common at all with him, other than the fact that they find each other's company pleasant. However, since women have traditionally spent mais time at início and still invite friends over to their houses in a way that men wouldn't do unless they really knew that person well, female friends often know a lot mais about each other's lives and so have mais to talk about, as well as meeting in their own homes in a mais relaxing and less distracting atmosphere. The mais a woman knows about her friend through talking, the deeper the relationship becomes, which in turn means that they talk more, etc etc. Men's relationships however are often mais fleeting in occasion, and are most often formed around non-personal subjects such as work, business, a particular leisure activity, sport or hobby etc and so their talk mostly revolves around that subject in the situation that they meet, and often don't tend to be that bothered with the other details of that friend's life (unless it is a close friend that they have known for a long time), just as long as they find each other's company entertaining. That's my theory anyway, based on what I've seen por the way my mum, dad and friends talk to others.

You're a man aren't you? That's the only logical reasoning for your generalizing and general douchiness.
