your partner and your period

oi guys, I was asking me whether the partner should know when you have your period. Okay, if you have sex it's clear but what is if you don't have sex yet.
Does your partner know when you have your period?

On the other hand, I've been with the same guy for over 20 years, and generally he's oblivious.
