I like someone, how do I get them to like me back?

I'm a girl and I really like this boy in my class! Most guys in my class that are girl obsessed say that I'm "hot". But this guy isn't one of those perverted guys who care only about boobs and asses and stuff. He's really nice and smart. I really want him to like me! Can any of you boys help me and tell me what a boy like that looks for in a girl?

Say hello. Ask him about his life, about himself. Everytime a girl has done that for me i opened up to her right away. Show interest in him is what im saying.

first off Are You friends with him? because relationships mais often then not start in friendships,if your not friends with him then start off with being friends and see how it goes from there,and every guy is different,not every guy looks for the same things in girls,But I think,If you want to be friends or ask him to be your boyfriend you should go up to him and start a conversation start off with something like Hi,and draw him into a conversation,something like how was your weekend/vacation or how are you do doing? or something like that,and see how it goes from there!
