Jamey Carroll's Autograph

jameswilson It was seriously the luckiest moment of my life! Haha - we were sitting field level at Angels Stadium, but in the very last row. I saw him walk up to the seats talk to some people he looked like he knew and I grabbed my sharpie and ran for it! I got down there and was probably trembling with excitement (it's weird seeing someone who you've never met in person but knowing their face so well). Anyway, he stopped to sign a baseball card for someone and noticed that I was standing there. He looked at me and said "come on over" or something and waved his hand for me to come up. I was so excited! Hahaha I told him he was my favorite Dodger last year and asked whether he would sign my shirt. He did and I was so happy - especially that he wrote 14 on it! He handed me back the pen and I made sure to shake his hand before I ran back to my seat. His hand was big and his fingers knuckly (in case you wanted to know). Hahaha And there's my story! I just had to share because of how awesome it was. I don't think I could have been any more excited, even if it was Kemp or something because I love Jamey Carroll! Maybe Casey Blake ... I would have been pretty excited for that too - or Blake DeWitt! Sigh ... maybe some day
