After I have heard that Bambi is getting a horror movie treatment just like Winnie the Pooh, Pinocchio, Snow White and some other known stories that became public domain, I decided to write this artigo 'cause prior hearing about the horror movie, I have dreamt about a film adaptation that was made in either late 1920s or in the 1930s before the disney adaptation was made in that alternate timeline and was made in live-action starring real animais playing the roles of the characters and was made mais faithful to the original book por Felix Salten. What I remember the most was the part when Bambi met some old especulador, veado, despedidas de solteiro who I doubt that was Bambi's father, but that character was based on that especulador, veado, despedidas de solteiro from the original book who is called as the "Old Prince" who Bambi have met that happened before he lost his mother who got shot por a hunter like in the disney movie, but I also remember a few shots of various scenes that I have seen from this movie before I woke up and realized it was just a dream, but a very good dream because I wish there were mais film adaptations of Bambi that were not por Disney, but the only ones that I know are the Bambi Meets Godzilla parody short film and the Soviet/Russian film called "Bambi's Childhood/Детство Бемби" that was made in 1985 and was made in live-action, but that movie have mostly humans playing the roles of characters, but it also have a few shot that shows them as animais too. Out of all film adaptations that exists, the Soviet/Russian one is the closest one to the original book as it featured characters who weren't featured in the disney version such as Faline's brother (Gobo), Netla and Karus who were all absent in the famous disney adaptation, but still it will also be great if mais other animated adaptations of it were made like an animê adaptation that follows the original book mais closely than the disney version that was made por either Toei, Tatsunoko Productions or Nippon Animation. Even though, Osamu Tezuka was a huge fã of Disney's Bambi himself that he decides to make a mangá adaptation of it with permissions from disney in 1951 as he was a huge fã of disney in general back then, but if Bambi was very popular in Japan, then why they didn't make an animê adaptation of it? To me, that would be as great as the live-action film that I have dreamed because those two would make "fantastic" adaptations than that horror movie that we're getting soon and I'm not happy about it because I don't want every classic masterpieces to get this horrible horror movie treatment because they are destroying the charm and the fondness that many people have with those tales.
