I'm not sure who to pick. I hate both of them SO MUCH!
Ozai- He is just a one-dimensional character that has no back story or anything to make him sympathetic like Zuko and Azula. He has absolutely no humanity or cares about anything. I mean, Cora from Once Upon A Time was pure evil but her weakness was Rumple (until she ripped her heart out) and her daughter. She doesn't redeem herself but she had a sympathetic back story and someone she cared about. Ozai doesn't care about his family at all. He didn't love his wife, his brother, his father, his son, or even his daughter. His children did all they could to please him and he NEVER appreciated it. If they ever displeased him, he would just shut them out. He's just pure evil with no layers to him AT ALL! He scared and banished his son! He was even willing to kill his own son when he was just a little boy, just so he could have the thrown. If it wasn't for Azula spying on him and warning Zuko about it by taunting him, which led to Ursa finding out, Zuko would be dead. He treated his daughter like a weapon instead of a person. He left her behind and only gave her the thrown when it meant nothing, with him becoming Phoenix King. He's one of the reasons why Azula lost her mind. He's just despicable!
Suki- This chick is just unnecessary! She has some kick*ss scenes but so do all the other members of Team Avatar. The others contribute something that make them unique. Aang is the leader that's destined to save the world but is also what brings some fun and innocence into the group, Katara is the motherly figure that inspires hope in people and will stop at nothing to help those who need her, Sokka is the comic relief but he's also the idea guy that comes up with all the plans and is the only one who can't bend (besides Suki) so he's unique, Toph is the tomboy that uses her amazing hearing skills to warn everyone of danger and makes witty comment that usually are to mock Sokka's bad jokes, and Zuko is the complex hothead that shows that anyone can change. Suki contributes absolutely NOTHING to the group or the franchise. Her only reason for existence is to be Sokka's love interest and they don't even have much development or chemistry. Sokka's chemistry with Yue was MUCH stronger, plus I'm a HUGE Tokka fan (but that's not the main reason I hate Suki). She's also a HUGE Mary-Sue! She has little to no flaws and everything comes so easily to her. The only time she seems to fail at something is when she loses to Azula, so at least the creators made that smart move. There was a rumor that Suki was killed by Azula before we found out she was imprisoned and if that was true, I honestly wouldn't have cared in the very slightest! With Sokka and Yue, they have a believable chemistry and you want them to get together because the customs of their world are keeping them apart and you're wondering how they'll get together. Plus, Yue selflessly sacrifices herself and they are given one last goodbye, which makes it all the more heartbreaking. Suki is unnecessary, a Mary-Sue, contributes nothing, and is just a pretty face.
I don't like either. But at least Ozai had some depth to him. At least he was sort of interesting. I'm up and down with him, I like him but I don't. I honestly don't see Suki as any more than Sokka's love interest. In the beginning she was more but...
