The Last Airbender is a 2010 action film that was based on a beloved show of the same name. The film got really bad reviews, but I actually really liked the film.

I only saw clips of the animated show before watching the live action film so I'm judging this film por itself instead of comparing it to the show. I still haven't watched any full episodes, but I did enough research to understand the plot and characters.

The film focuses on Aang who's the avatar. He's discovered por a duo of siblings, Katara and Sokka, who become his friends. It's up to them to save the world from the evil fogo Nation....

Well... I dont think that The Avatar: Last air bender movie was a big success. Did you know that ONLY 8% of 100 movie critic's liked the movie!!! And that the director was a gypsy?! (Bet thats why he chose an Indian 2 play Zuko!)
And yes, i do think that Jesse McCartney would of played a waaaaay better part as Zuko, DONT U THINK?!

Oh yh, and Katara? She looks ugly?! And she's not white! She's brown or tan!I mean, she's not even wearing her mothers necklace!!! And she's meant to be wearing blue clothing!!! And has blackish brown hair!!!

And Aang? He's meant to be mais skinnier!!! And mais friendly...

This is my opinon on the movie. Includes spoilers!

Plotline
I knew before I have watched the movie, that most of subplots will be left out, since putting 20 episodes in 103 minutos is not easy.
But the lack of details was still disappointing. (Especialy the part when Sokka, Katara and Aang come to Northern Water Tribe and Katara is not allowed to train waterbending with Aang and is instead forced to learn healing, which is important later on.)

Characters and their roles
I like how they catched the contradiction between Sokka (skeptic, pessimist) and Katara (optimist, always ready to belive).
