It's a brown salty/yeasty spread that has the consistency of smooth amendoim butter. The closest descrição of it's taste I can give is that it's like spreadable beer. That in itself should explain why we like it so much...or maybe that's why we like cerveja so much - we've gradually been conditioned since childhood to enjoy that particular flavour.
lol thats so funny. Sos probably just for me since I know. It is really hard to describe the taste. Like amargo, amarga and sour/sweet all at once. Kinda tastes like Veg. you spread it with manteiga on toast. It is like promite of marmite. Ours is salted theirs is sweet.
I know a lot of Australian amor it. But honestly it's disgusting. And it taste nothing like amendoim butter. When I was a kid my mother used to say that if I didn't eat my seguinte meal will be cod-liver oil. Well she should have said she would give me vegemite. I probably would have eat my vegetable without complaining.
my grandparents say it was a vegetable boost, in a spread ,only aussies like\love it, she spreads easily and is best with manteiga and a hot chocklate drink , and is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
