Episode 71: Steam Rolled
Date: July 24, 1958
Location: Ogden Utah
Time: 11:00 AM
Railroad: Southern Pacific
Roger just got back into Ogden from driving a freight train. Michael called the blue unicorn into his office when he returned.
Roger: You wanted to see me sir?
Michael: I called you in here to give you a gift.
Roger: Okay.
Michael: I know you've been anxious to drive Anthony's modified engine, but it was retired, and placed in a museum far from here.
Roger: Rats.
Michael: I knew you'd be upset, so I decided to give you a present.
Roger: Am I going to get a modified engine of my own sir?
Michael: Yes. Your engine will have a supercharged motor, for mais tractive effort, and for mais grip, special wheels with tires on them will be added. You will have the fastest train in West Coast Equestria.
Roger: I really appreciate it sir.
Two days later, Roger's engine got all of the modifications Michael planned to make. Everypony was really interested in the supercharged engine in Roger's locomotive, but they were confused when they saw the tires on the wheels.
As Roger parked his locomotive in the yards, the other ponies started talking about it.
Anthony: Cars are supposed to have tires. Not trains.
Duke: They look like steamroller wheels almost.
Roger: Oh, shut your mouths. You're just jealous that Michael made those modifications to my engine. Now, I can go faster than any of you.
Ryan: You didn't have to say that to us.
Donut: Yeah, be nice for once.
Roger: That's interesting to hear from you. You're meaner than any other pónei, pônei on this Railroad.
Nikki: *Whispering* I got an idea.
Roger: What was that?
Nikki: With those new wheels Roger, you're just the pónei, pônei to defeat Scru Yu.
Roger: Who's Scru Yu?
Nikki: *Points towards an unpaved road* That stallion driving the steam roller.
Scru Yu was angry most of the time, and mostly took it out on the Southern Pacific Ponies.
Scru Yu: *Driving steam roller, and looks at Roger, and the other Southern Pacific Ponies* Railways are no good. Pull them up. Turn them into roads. Railways are no good. Pull them up. Turn them into roads. *Stops in big pile of gravel*
Roger: What an idiot. Leave him to me.
Scru Yu: *Drives backwards*
Date: July 26, 1958
Location: Ogden Utah
Time: 1:27 PM
Railroad: Southern Pacific
Roger, and Anthony were driving a short freight train, using Roger's modified locomotive.
Roger: I thought this would be used for passenger trains.
Anthony: Yeah. Me too, but remember, fewer ponies are riding trains nowadays. They're either interested in driving their car, or just flying in an airplane.
Roger: What about the freight?
Anthony: There are still some ponies interested in getting their freight por train, but it's possible, towards the future that fewer ponies will have their freight delivered por train. Just like with the passengers.
Roger: I hope that never happens. *Stops train* Relax, and take a nap while I refuel the train.
Anthony: I'm not even that tired.
Roger: Then just relax. *Gets out of train, and goes to refuel it*
Scru Yu: *Driving his steam roller, but stops Near Roger. He looks at Roger's engine*
Roger: *Places fuel bomba into fuel tank*
Scru Yu: *Gets out of steam roller, and walks to Roger*
Roger: *Looks at Scru Yu*
Scru Yu: Heh. You're Roger I suppose.
Roger: And you I suppose are Scru Yu. Yes, I've heard of you.
Scru Yu: And I've heard of you! You swagger around in that engine of yours with those "steam roller" wheels, pretending you're as good as me.
Roger: Actually. *Takes fuel bomba out of fuel tank, and climbs back into his engine* I'm better. So screw you Scru Yu. *Drives away*
Scru Yu walked back to his steam roller, and drove away furiously. por the time Roger got his train back in the yards, he told everypony about how he got in the argument with Scru Yu.
Roger: Okay, so me, and Anthony were driving our train, right?
Duke: Right.
Roger: We had to stop for fuel. I told Anthony to relax while I refueled the engine.
Anthony: You told me to relax, and take a nap.
Roger: Who's telling the story here?
Anthony: You are.
Roger: Right, so shut up. As I'm refueling the engine, take a guess at who I saw.
Ryan: Oh boy. Was it Donna Reed?
Roger: No. She's busy working on her new show, The Donna Reed Show.
Nikki: Was it President Eisenhower?
Roger: No, he's busy being the president at the White House.
Donut: It was that pónei, pônei you were telling us about. The one driving the steam roller.
Roger: That's right. And everypony? Lay off the sarcasm.
Ryan: But maybe we like being sarcastic.
Roger: Yeah, well I don't. Anyway, Scru Yu shows up in his steamroller. I ignore him, but he walks up, and says, "Heh. You're Roger I suppose." I just tell him that he's Scru Yu, and that I've heard of him before. Then he says he's heard of me, and that I swagger around in that engine Michael modified for me, saying that I pretend to be as good as him.
Anthony: Take a guess at how Roger replied to that.
Roger: No, I'll tell them myself. I told him that I was better. Then, I said, screw you Scru Yu.
Ponies: Oh! *Clapping*
Roger: Thank you. I guess Scru Yu won't bother us anymore. Right?
Nikki: No.
Roger: What do you mean no?
Nikki: You have to fight him. You know, hoof to hoof. Bloody noses. Fight Scru Yu.
Roger: You really want me to fight him?
Nikki: We all do.
Roger: Then if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get. If I find him tomorrow, I'll beat him up until he dies.
Ponies: *Cheering*
During the cheering, Roger thought about what Scru Yu said earlier. Just like Duke, he called the wheels on his locomotive steam roller wheels. Roger wasn't sure, but he thought the others were trying to get him to fight with Scru Yu on purpose.

Roger was driving another freight train, this time with two different engines. They had just been repainted, and Michael wanted somepony to use them as soon as they were finished being repainted into the new paint scheme.
Roger: *Driving his train on a track right seguinte to the road* No fence? That can't be good.
Scru Yu: *Driving his steam roller further up the road in front of Roger's train*
Dog: *Sees Scru Yu, and barks three times. He whimpers, and lays on his back, begging for a belly rub.*
Pony: *Walks towards dog* It's just a steam roller boy. Relax.
Roger: *Driving his train closer to the steam roller* He's got part of his steam roller blocking my path. *Blows horn five times*
Scru Yu: Screw you!
Roger: *Leans head out of the window* Get out of the way you fucking road hog!
Scru Yu: I ain't gonna listen to somepony that drives trains!
Roger: Yeah, well screw you Scru Yu. *Driving his train past Scru Yu's steam roller*
Scru Yu: Screw this! *Crashes steam roller into train*
Roger: *Stops, and sees the damage*
When Roger saw the damage, he immediately remembered what Nikki told him yesterday. Fight Scru Yu.
Roger: *Gets out of train* You asshole! This is all your fault!
Scru Yu: *Gets out of steamroller* No it's not. It's yours!
Roger: *Punches Scru Yu*
Scru Yu: *Falls on ground*
Roger: Don't lie to me! *Jumps on Scru Yu, and punches him in his face*
Nikki: *Watching from a distance with binoculars* Things are going just the way they should be.
Ryan: Except for that pónei, pônei on his motorcycle. He's going backwards!
Roger: *Continues hitting Scru Yu*
Scru Yu: *Has blood coming out of his nose* Stop!
Police Pony: *Arrives in a police car*
Roger: *Stops hitting Scru Yu, and looks at the police pony*
Police Pony: *Sees everypony staring at him, then looks at Roger, and Scru Yu* Hello hello hello. And what's going on here?
Roger was put in jail for three days, while Scru Yu was punished por doing community service.
Then, he had to help build a fence between the road, and the train track.
When the work was done, Scru Yu was told por his boss to go to Fillydelphia to fix a road. Roger thought he had made Scru Yu leave town.
Roger: *At the station with the others* I literally beat the shit out of that bastard. His nose was bleeding, and I got sent to jail, but I didn't care. I'm just glad I got to make his nose bleed. Just like you told me to do Nikki. Hoof to hoof. Bloody noses, but I wasn't able to kill him unfortunately.
Nikki: My plan didn't work. He's bragging mais than ever now.
Ryan: Never mind. We'll think of something else.
But they had no need to do that. Four colts arrived, and saw Roger.
Colt: Look! Here's Roger. He wanted to race a steam roller in his train, but he ended up getting it derailed!
Colts: *Laughing*
potro, colt 2: He even went to jail!
Colts: *Laughing*
Roger: *Embarrased. He walks away*
