(NOTE: This was made mainly to hold people off until I made my topo, início 40 favorito televisão Series, which includes sitcoms, cartoons, and anime, so don't forget to check that out once I'm done with it! Also, there IS mild cussing in this article, so if that bothers you, please leave now.)
Alright, let me just say this now, I amor anime. And honestly, I don't even know why. It's just that I can recall so many amazing ones out there and just how much fun I have watching them, and today, IN HONOR OF King John The Third's birthday, we're counting down my favorito anime.
And I haven't seen some really good ones out there, so that's probably why masterpieces like Mirai Nikki and Cowboy Bebop or Code Geass or GOD I REALLY NEED TO SEE mais animê aren't on this list.
And yes, I'm serious, June 6th is King John The Third's Birthday. Not that anyone really cares but....
JUST FORGET IT.
#10. angel Beats.
Starting off this list is a 13 episode action-packed animê with great animation. And since I'm too lazy to say the story myself, TAKE IT AWAY WIKIPEDIA! ^____^
"Angel Beats! takes place at a high school atuação as a limbo for those who have died, where students learn to give up any lingering attachments they still have from life before passing on. Those in the afterlife school can still feel pain as they did when they were alive, as well as dying again, only to awaken later with no injuries.
The story follows the main protagonist Otonashi, a boy who has lost his memories of his life after dying. He meets Yuri, a girl who invites him to cadastrar-se the Afterlife Battlefront, an organization she founded and leads which fights against God for the negative experiences the SSS members went through in life. In the SSS, there is a four-girl band named Girls Dead Monster that acts as a diversion during missions, and an organization called the Guild that mass-produces weapons out of dirt and supplies them to the SSS.
Their only enemy is Angel, a girl who uses her sobrenatural powers to fight against the SSS. angel creates her powers with the aid of a computer program called angel Player. The rest of the afterlife school is populated por a large number of "normal" students and teachers Yuri deems "non-player characters" (NPCs), which are not human but look and act the part."
What, you really thought I was going to write all of that down? SCREW PARAPHRASING!
Anyways, the main reason why this animê makes the list is probably just the concept alone. Yeah, it can get complicated, but it's very original and is executed very nicely.
Also, the animation in this series makes Sailor Moon look like Ed, Edd, And Eddy. Seriously, the animê looks amazing.
Combined with great characters, a pretty damn nice soundtrack, and an ending that'll (SPOILERS) make you cry, it makes #10 on this list.
#9. Azumanga Daioh.
seguinte on our list that nobody cares about is one of the funniest animê I've seen in years, a high school girl comedy por the name of Azumanga Daioh.
Now, before I even say anything, I want you guys to know that it's VERY EASY to mess up a high school comedy, especially in the animê category. Because chances are, if the show is just mindless slapstick or.... Just makes no goddamn sense whatsoever, it's NOT going to work!
This needs to be mentioned because I've seen a lot of animê with a good amount of potential but mess up one of the main things that makes most animê entertaining, the comedy.
*COUGH COUGH amor HINA COUGH COUGH*
And after watching this anime, I almost cried. Not because it was sad, OH HELL NO, but because it was done so nicely!
Every character has their own individually unique personality and the animê makes sure that all the characters get plenty of screen time as well! Seriously, the creators of this animê thought of EVERYTHING before making it.
I won't talk about the characters that much because this isn't a review and if I did, then I'd be here all night. So if you're wondering why I don't mention any, that's why.
My only gripe with this animê is that it's not for everyone. If you tend to like darker animê like Higurashi: When They Cry or action packed animê like Trigun, then chances are, you won't enjoy this show as much. Because honestly, the entire show is just mindless fun.
BUT if you like comedy and are willing to give it a chance, then I say go watch an episode right now!
My favorito character is easily Tomo for those who were wondering. Seriously, she's the most hilarious one on the entire show.
In conclusion, with a nice lineup of characters, great comedy, and no geral, global enjoyment of every episode, Azumanga Daioh makes #9 on this list.
#8. The Ouran High School Host Club.
If there's one thing I DESPISE doing in my articles, it's being cliche. But there's just some cases where I PUT MY HANDS IN THE AIR LIKE I JUST DON'T CARE! :D
(What the hell? o-O)
Basic idea, I didn't want to put an animê on here that EVERYONE likes, but this one is WAY too good to ignore.
It takes place at *Gasp* A HIGH SCHOOL and follows a girl por the name of Haruhi Fujioka accidentally breaking something very important to a group of people in this música club and to pay it off, she has to do what they do and entertain girls for a good chunk of the show.
Now, as far as romantic comedies go, this is easily one of the best ones out there. It has hilarious jokes, great animation, funny side storylines, and an AWESOME theme song that will never ever leave your head.
♫MAYBE YOU'RE MY LOVE! ^__^♫
I think this show's strongest point is the characters, and let me tell you, this show has some of the best.
You have Haruhi being dragged around to whatever the Host Club is doing, Tamaki Suoh being absolutely hilarious the entire show, the twins Hikaru and Kaoru having some awesome character development and jokes along the way, Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka being the cute one of the group, and so much more!
I seriously didn't have a problem with ANY of the characters and I never felt as if the show was annoying. It's always a blast to watch and the animê just keeps getting better.
Also, unlike Azumanga Daioh, the show gets pretty serious at times, especially on the last episode. So it's not just mindless fun, there's something for everyone in this anime.
Unless, again, you like dark animê like Future Diary. But even then I think that everyone will enjoy this, not matter what genre they like the most.
Hell, I even have a friend who LOATHES romantic comedies and he told me this is one of his favorito anime! Need I say more?
And that's why The Ouran High School Host Club makes #8 on this list. It's unique, hysterical, and always makes you laugh when you're feeling down.
#7. Shakugan No Shana.
HOLY GOD I'M NOT composição literária ALL THAT DOWN. You know what to do, Wikipedia! =D
"Shakugan no Shana details an age-old conflict between those who inhabit the Crimson Realm, a parallel universe to the human world. The Crimson Realm is populated por Crimson Denizens who are able to manipulate Power of Existence, a fundamental power within any biological entity and functions as "fuel" for one's existence.
Denizens whose power stands out among their peers are known as Lords of the Crimson Realm, and Lords that are even mais powerful are known as Gods. Denizens who do not care about the balance between the Crimson Realm and the human world collect Power of Existence from humans to use for their own purposes.
Some Lords contract with humans to become a Flame Haze, whose duty is to maintain the two worlds' balance por destroying any Denizens disrupting it. Denizens and Flame Haze fight with the use of powerful magic spells called Powers of Unrestrained, which are also known as Unrestricted Spells or Unrestricted Methods. One such spell is the Seal, which creates a o espaço where the Crimson Realm and the human world intermingle and time stops."
That's all I'll say for now. If you want to find out mais then watch the animê yourself.
...........
For some reason I can't think of anything to say. Don't you hate it when that happens?
Uh, anyways, this is definitely one of the better takes on action animê I've seen out there. The story is a bit confusing at first, and it took me about 20 episodes to finally remember Alastor's name por heart, but it's all worth it, trust me.
The animation is great, the story is really cool and unique, and this animê also has some of my favorito animê characters of all time.
Hell, the main character is an epic badass who wields a flame sword. Need I say more?
Actually, that's easily one of the best things ever invented now that I think about it. A FLAME SWORD! Just imagine! A F**KING fogo SWORD! THAT'S EPIC!
Maybe not original, but FLAME SWORDS ARE AWESOME.
It's like taking two of the coolest things EVER, and combining them together!
FIRE! SWORDS! fogo SWORDS!
FOR THE MOTHER F**KING WIN fogo SWORDS ZOMG SO EPIC CAN'T HANDLE THE PWNAGENESSSSSSSSS
And that's all I'll say without spoiling anything. The action was amazing, it had a great lineup of characters, great animation, AND F**KING FLAME SWORDS.
#6. Kirby Right Back At Ya.
Comments: STOP IT WITH THE COMEDIES! >.<
Yeah I know, I'm going to be a little excessive with the comedies on this list, but can you really blame me? Comedies are some of the best material you can possibly watch if done correctly, and this animê bloody well shows it.
The story takes place when a legendary estrela warrior, powerful beings of the universe, crashes into a humble little place called Cappy Town. When the king checks Kirby out, he doesn't like him because-
EW rosa, -de-rosa THAT'S A SISSY COLOR COOTIES TAKE IT AWAY!
I don't know. He just doesn't like rosa, -de-rosa estrela warriors I guess.
Anyways, the king is in contact with an evil organization known as NightMare Enterprises, or NME for short.
Haha, see what they did there? NME? Enemy? eNeME? HAHAHAHAHA GOOD TIMES! :D
And that's really all I can say about this show. The comedy was always hilarious, I can't get enough of that catchy theme song, the animation is pretty impressive for the time it was made, and had some really good characters along the way!
You just gotta amor Waddle Doo and that tiny dagger of his. XD
#5. Clannad/After Story.
seguinte up is Clannad and Clannad After Story. The first show in the series, Clannad, is your typical high school comedy, but done well. Many of the adventures they have are really entertaining to watch and the ending was great!
The story takes place in Hikarizaka High School where our main characters, Tomoya and Nagisa, along with their friends, go on silly adventures of fun. And that's it. It's done very well, I'll be it a little basic, but executed in a way that works in the anime's favor.
Sadly though, I would say more, but anything else would be major spoilers. Sorry. But after Clannad, we mover on to the segundo show, Clannad After Story, which is basically what happened after the first show.
That's literally what it's called. Clannad After Story. It's like the word wheelchair, IT'S JUST A CHAIR WITH WHEELS. WHAT'S THE POINT. COME UP WITH A BETTER NAME FOR GOD'S SAKE.
But let me tell you, Clannad After Story is THE SADDEST GODDAMN animê I'VE EVER SEEN.
SERIOUSLY, THIS SHOW CAN MAKE A GANGSTER CRY. IT'S THAT SAD.
That's all I'm going to say for now. And although this show does end happily ever after, you sure as hell are going to bawl your eyes out in the middle of Clannad After Story.
These two animes are absolutely wonderful, and I recommend you watch them both right now.
#4. Rosario + Vampire
God cursed me with the disadvantage of me watching a lot of comedy animes, didn't he? And seeing as how this entry AND the rest of this list are pretty much comedies.......
WELL F#%K.
Anyways, this animê has the main character, named Tsukune, (Pronounced Skunei, don't ask. It's Japan.) accidently getting sent to a high school where everyone, who looks like normal humans, all have monsters inside of them that they can summon at any time.
Also, the teachers specifically say that any real humans that are caught are going to be killed right on the spot. In other words.....
REST IN PEACE TSUKUNE AONO WE'LL MISS YOU X____X
Along the way he meets a hot pink-haired girl por the name of Moka who, por the end of the first episode when her secret monster form saves him from a monster bully, finds out he's a human and decided to help him.
Also, Moka is said to have the most powerful monster form of them all, being a legendary class monster who can PWN somebody in, let's say, two seconds.
Along the way he meets mais characters, each with their own awesome powers and hot bodies. I MEAN, UH, great personalities.
I like this animê for having what a lot of entries on this list already had, great animation, characters, and a cool story, but I think the ONLY reason it's so high on the lst is because this was the first animê I ever watched.
I'll never forget it either. I was about 11-12 years old and I saw this on Netflix. I decided to check it out and it did NOT disappoint me.
My only complaint is that this animê does have a good bit of fanservice in it, so if that bothers you, then this animê isn't for you. I wouldn't say it's as bad as Highschool Of The Dead, but it does happen rather frequently.
Then again, being the perverted 12 ano old I was, I didn't really care because it never really got in the way. Seriously, the fanservice is only used for comedy and never actually distracts from an important moment.
And that's all I'll say for now. It's a great animê with a lot of action, and can be pretty damn serious at times as well. Also, since it was my first anime, this show will always hold a special place in my heart.
And that's why Rosario + Vampire is definitely worth checking out.
#3. Kaze No Stigma.
You know the drill, Wikipedia! ;D
"Kazuma Kannagi was the eldest son of the Kannagi family and presumed heir. However, due to his inability to use "Enjutsu", the power to control flames, he was considered to be useless within his family.
Despite his inability to wield fire, his father insisted on him competing for the right to wield "Enraiha", a sword that was wielded por the family heir. Kazuma was soundly defeated por 14-year-old Ayano Kannagi, his segundo cousin, and banished from the family. Four years later, he returned as a master of "Fūjutsu", the power to control wind, and with a new name: Kazuma Yagami."
There you go. Now, with a story that complicated, it can be a bit hard to first get into, but trust me when I say it's easier to understand then you think.
The animê is kind of aleatório when it introduces a new plot-point or a villain but it's pacing is so well done that you almost forget about it. Also, this is one of the few action series that actually uses break episodes.
What I mean por that is a silly episode where nothing really happens story-wise and is mostly there to calm down the story for an episode or two. And I have to say, WHY DON'T mais ACTION animê DO THIS!?
Seriously, I like a good epic story with fighting, but it wouldn't hurt to add a nice peaceful episode where it's just fun and games every once in a while.
It calms down the story, is good pacing, and makes the animê mais enjoyable.
Another reason why I like this animê is just because of the main character. My god, Kazuma is one of the COOLEST characters to ever be in an anime, EVER.
Like my good friend Wikipedia told you, he uses the power of wind, which is already pretty sweet, but his character design is also really well made. He's on my perfil page if you're interested, and you can probably find him easily there.
The animation was great, the jokes were really good, the action scenes were intense, and it had-
fogo SWORDSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! FLAME SWORDS SO EPIC CAN'T HANDLE THE POWER TURN DOWN FOR WHAT fogo SWORDSSS!!!!! ^________________^
#2. Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple.
This animê takes place in ANOTHERGODDAMNHIGHSCHOOL where a boy named Kenichi is always being picked on. He then meets this awesome girl who is way mais overpowered then she should be and shows Kenichi her family, which are all masters of a specific type of fighting.
They train Kenichi for his new opponents, and while he gets stronger, his enemies do as well. And that's the whole story in a nutshell.
It had great animation, funny jokes, epic fighting scenes, and I know I say this a lot, but THIS animê HAS SOME OF THE BEST CHARACTERS EVER MADE.
Seriously, although some animes like Azumanga Daioh and The Ouran High School Host Club might not make a topo, início 10 animê Characters list for me, EVERYONE IN THIS SHOW WOULD GET A GUARANTEED SPOT IN THE topo, início 5.
I really like Kenichi's creepy yet funny friend, I like a lot of the members of Ragnarok, I like the masters for being so powerful yet so funny, and everything in this show just screams out-
POLISH! ^_______________^
Also, I swear I watched this animê 3 TIMES! AND IT'S 50 EPISODES LONG! That's EASILY the most times I've watched the same anime, and I NEVER got bored.
Lastly, one thing I really like about the show is how ridiculously overpowered the masters are, and yet they don't even help Kenichi in his fights.
They make him fight his own battles and grow on his own. And heck, I think if the masters fought even the most powerful villains in the show, they'd win easily.
It's really funny knowing how the masters can easily beat anyone in the world and it also makes them look even mais epic, and that's all I'll say for this anime.
It's one of my favorito animes of all time, and it's DEFINITELY worth checking out. Seriously go watch episode 1 right now. You won't regret it.
#1. School Rumble.
THIS animê IS FLAWLESS, SIMPLY FLAWLESS. IT IS HANDS DOWN THE FUNNIEST AND MOST ENTERTAINING animê YOU'LL EVER SEE IN YOUR LIFE.
AZUMANGA DAIOH AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON THIS SHOW, IT'S LITERALLY A MASTERPIECE.
Seriously, this isn't just my favorito anime, it's my favorito SHOW. OUT OF ALL THE CARTOONS, THE SITCOMS, THE ANIME, NOTHING TOPS THIS SHOW. NOTHING.
I don't care if I watched Cowboy Bebop, Future Diary, or Code Geass, NOTHING BEATS THIS.
Now let's finally stop fanboying like a 2-year old and get to the story.
Wikipedia, get over here!
Wikipedia: NO! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!
Me: I GOT A FLAME SWORD! >:D
Wikipedia: FINE! GODDAMNIT JARED!
Wikipedia: School Rumble is a romantic shōnen comedy revolving around the daily lives of the students of Class 2-C at the fictional Yagami High School, along with their friends and families.
The main female protagonist is Tenma Tsukamoto, an unremarkable second-year high school student who secretly admires her eccentric, enigmatic, nice-guy classmate, Oji Karasuma.
Tenma struggles to confess her feelings to Oji. He remains oblivious to her interest, instead seeking fulfillment por indulging in curry. The main male protagonist, delinquent Kenji Harima, similarly yearns for Tenma, attending school solely to be near her.
Like Tenma, Harima has difficulty declaring his love, and whenever he summons the courage to do so, circumstances conspire against him.
Wikipedia: I hate you Jared.
Anyways, the payoff was definitely worth it, as this is the funniest damn show I've ever seen in my life.
Flaws? Well, uh..... There...... Uh...... Um...
I don't like how that travesseiro in episode three looked at me? I DON'T KNOW, THIS animê HAS NO FLAWS.
Seriously, everything is perfect. The pacing of the show is great, the jokes always hit bullseye, the animation is great, and the characters? F**KING PHENOMENAL!
My god, Kenji Harima is the funniest character you'll ever see in ANY show. In fact, if I made a topo, início 10 Characters In Media list, he'd make #1 instantly!
Seriously, this is as good as shows get, and no matter what I watch in the future, my opinion for this show will never change.
THE ONLY FLAW is there's no flame swords, that's a crime all por itself. But honestly, who even cares about that?
This animê doesn't just have no flaws, it downright PERFECT.
Not just the perfect anime, the perfect show. Period.
This is Jared Potts signing out, and I hope you enjoyed my list. Don't forget to leave a comment below on your favorito animes, and stay tuned for my topo, início 40 favorito T.V. Shows! Although if you read this list, you already know what #1 will be.
Thanks for reading! I really appreciate it. :)
(Tell me if you find any spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors in this article. Also, yes, I have seen Soul Eater, Death Note, and a lot of great anime, but they just didn't make the list in the end. Sorry!)
Alright, let me just say this now, I amor anime. And honestly, I don't even know why. It's just that I can recall so many amazing ones out there and just how much fun I have watching them, and today, IN HONOR OF King John The Third's birthday, we're counting down my favorito anime.

Sorry!)
