How come when it comes to old animê people seem to know Fruits Basket the most? I like that Anime. It just bugs me that nobody seems to remember other old classic animê other than Fruits Basket.

This is just a pergunta don't anyone get mad at me please. I like fruits Basket por the way. And i ask some people if they know any animê like Orphen Anime,King of bandits Jing, D.N.Angel,Yu Yu Hakusho and Shaman King. And people say sorry i don't know them animê i know Fruits Basket. it gets annoying. What's mais annoying is that Yu Yu Hakusho is from the creators of the popular Dragon ball series and nobody seems to remember this animê only a few people do. I wanna know why is it that fruits Basket is and old animê that people seem to remember the most over any other old classic Anime? Once again this is just a pergunta not a hate post. And thanks for your help in advance everyone. :3

I wouldn't even say Fruits Basket is "old". I mean, it was made into animê 2002, I think. I like Rurouni Kenshin, and I think that was sometime in the 90's. But other than that, I don't really watch many "old anime". Some not well known animê like Blood Lad and coração no Kuni no Alice, sure, but not many old ones. .... <i>Mephisto.</i>

Speaking of Blue Exorcist I have seen some of it on Adult Swim at my friend Hunter's house. I so enjoy D.Gray-Man. That one is a great Exorcist animê full of action. Glad you'll try them animê i recommend.

I think it's because Fruits Basket had a mangá series that ran on for quite some time (into the mid 2000s I believe) so a lot mais people knew about it. This is what I believe, I don't know if this is true or not.
