How many of you have accidentally seen Yaoi, Yuri, or Hentai? Your reaction?

I'm a guy so I was looking around and saw yaoi and was like what's dis started it and not even half way through my reaction NOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOO OH GOD NOOOOOO NO shuts off computer

Before I was creeped out por Hentai, but completely fine with yaoi & Yuri.
Now if I accidentally see any of the three, I just shrug and continue my business no biggie, unless i'm in public. I like all three of them now actually, you can say i'm to the point that I don't mind it anymore, I usually either leave it alone or watch/read it.

The first time I discovered yaoi I was on YouTube and one of my favorito song was set to a yaoi video. I clicked it because I didn't know what it was and my reaction was I kinda like this so the I watched an actual yaoi anime. It was a little weird for me at first but I got over it and now I am obsessed with it.

Yuri and Hentai I am indifferent to

The first time I came across a yaoi animê was while I was wondering through the romance section in one of my favorito animê websites.I was surprised when I saw a picture of two guys hugging.At first I thought maybe one of them is secretly a girl like many other animes out there that have a tomboyish female lead like Ouran Highschool Host Club.

So,I watched the first episode.Then,I watched the segundo episode because the first didn't reveal any of the characters genders.After watching the third episode was that it finally occurred to me that both of the main characters were male.

I was a bit shocked and grossed out when I found out what yaoi was,so I stopped watching it.Then,months later I saw an AMV about it and thought that it was not that bad.It was actually better than some other non-yaoi series that I had watched.So,I have it a try and loved it.

I hate yuri and hentai,though.

If I see something that I think is gross por accident I usually just close the window or ignore it...
But most of the time if I'm watching gay porn it's intentional lol.

My reactions are typically like below concerning pornographic yaoi/yuri and hentai. I've had this happen so many times it's not funny... It's the most horrid and awkward thing ever... And yes, it does make me feel rather sick to my stomach to an extent when I see the pornographic stuff. It's really mostly just awkward and generally makes me feel rather very icky to be honest. However normal yaoi and yuri or should I say shounen ai and shojo ai doesn't bother me in the least~

in my opinion, yaoi and yuri should be fine for most as long as it's not pornographic

I've seen all three.

The first one I saw was hentai. I was at first surprised, after calming down, I felt indifferent.

The segundo one I saw was yuri. Since it wasn't pornographic, I was slightly surprised. I felt indifferent.

The third one I saw was yaoi. It wasn't pornographic, at least, not completely what I mean por completely is, yes, it was two males lying on topo, início of each other, yes, they were apparently naked, but they were covered por sheets. Of course, my first reaction is surprise. I looked at it for a bit longer, and I actually liked it.

To be honest, that was quickest I've ever seen an interest develop.

It took me a long time, but I actually began to enjoy both softcore yaoi and pornographic yaoi.

I once accidentally came across an L/Near FanFiction, where l was depicted to be an absolute pedophile, and...blegh..

I cannot look up any of my favorito male characters in Death Note without seeing a ton of Yaoi, and while I'm learning to ignore or be used to it, I did once see VERY graphic fã art of Mello and Matt that crossed the line, for me.

The closest animê series to a Hentai that I have ever come across was lema to-LOVE-ru, and I didn't even get through the first episode of it. All it was was fanservice disguised por a cliche plot.

Sometimes, when I'm looking for a good AMV, all it is is a slideshow of yaoi fã art that does not relate to the song, in any way.

well since ive been in the fandom for so long, i guess im practically used to all of it now, even I though i like none of them at all. like, I see a picture of a creepy pornograhpic yaoi thing and im just like ......' -.- ' and keep scrolling XD same with yuri and hentai. ive just grown immune to it i guess XD

I like yaoi... It seems so weird actually telling people that... I used to really like shojo, so I liked shounen ai when I first found it. It took a bit to get used to it being two guys with sparkly auras, but I didn't really think of it as any different than shojo. Then I saw actual yaoi and I was disgusted... but I kept leitura and I started to like leitura it, I thought it was interesting.
When I first discovered hentai, I was creeped out, I was disgusted, but after a while you just get used to it.
I don't like yuri, I don't know why, I just hate leitura yuri.

I have seen a lot of yaoi/yuri fanart and have seen the odd fanfiction with yaoi/yuri references, but haven't actually watched anything that depicts...you know...but that's not because I hate yaoi/yuri, it's simply because I don't like watching animes that have sex scenes full stop. I'm kind of neutral about yaoi and yuri; I read a short yuri-style mangá strip created por someone on the internet quite recently-purely por accident, I didn't know it was yuri until I had nearly read the whole strip, but it was actually quite a sweet story, there wasn't anything pornographic. To be honest, I don't really get why many people amor yaoi but hate yuri-isn't that kind of discriminatory, or am I missing something? I wouldn't watch yaoi or yuri normally purely because I myself am not interested in that kind of thing, but as long as it isn't hentai, pornographic, fanfics of existing characters made por weird fãs (I find the endless Death Note LXLight/MelloXNear etc fanfics very irritating) or pedophilia, I'm not all that bothered.

Personally, I like yaoi and yuri~ And I amor shounen-ai and shoujo-ai~ Hentai? Meh, watch/read sometimes - as long as it's not *too* weird. So no, it doesn't make me sick to the stomach at all ^_^

Me. I'm one of those people, (except Yuri [I haven't watched any Yuri series before]) and this is my reaction for each one:

Yaoi:

The first yaoi animê I've seen was "Papa to kiss in the Dark." I've discovered about it when one of the fanpop users here in animê club have mentioned something about it. Out of curiosity, I searched it in Google. Then I was like: "Oh my! What on earth are they doing!" O.O

Hentai:

I accidentally saw it while I'm surfing a certain website. I already forgot the name of that website. I clicked its video, then saw two characters having...Um, well, you already know what they're doing O.O

Well, it wasn't accidentally for me. I just kept hearing about these genres on the internet and I was curious what they were about, so I looked them up. I don't mind any of them.

I have, I nearly throw up, it like WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED!!!!!!

I can understand not liking hentai stuff (I'm not even old enough to watch it, so I never have) but what about G through PG-13 yaoi and yuri? What's wrong with that? It's just another romance; no big deal. I have no problem with boy/boy and girl/girl stuff.

I don't like Hentai because it's usually super pornographic. So not my thing. And Yuri is alright but I haven't seen one that is super good, most of the yuri I've seen are harem types of animes (where the pervy guy is watching type). And I avoid harem animes lol. So I'm not too into that either.

However, I do like Yaoi. Some of the stuff is taken too far but I've come to like it especially if it is a sweet romance that takes time for them to fall in love. In that aspect, it's just like real gay couples. So I guess I so like Shounen-ai mais than hard yaoi. I also like quite a few yaoi shippings....guilty ^_^

But if it bothers you, I don't think it is a big deal. Everyone has their opinions and some people just don't like it. Just try not to let it bother you so much.... but I know what you mean, I've seen some pictures out there that I don't think I'll ever unsee.

Yaoi: Bit of a weird one actually, got it from south park and thought it was cute as fuck so i googled it.
Yuri: Heard about it through yaoi, googled it.
