Do You Notice This or Have I lost my Mind?

Do you notice that many animated shows and/or movies, the characters kind of have animê style eyes? I don't know, I was at the Dollar Store today and I saw something about disney Princesses......their eyes seemed like an animê style not exact but.....I thought it was a bit strange :P What do you think? Can you give examples of desenhos animados with animê style something? I'd give one, I think MLP have sorta animê style eyes.
