Suggestions?

I've recently started watching anime, and I have no idea what to watch next. So far, I have watched Soul Eater and Black Butler and I've read the Death Note manga. I have a taste for the darker, mais dramatic things, if you could take that into consideration it would be great. Any suggestions?

Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It was suggested to me here por a fellow fan. Let me just say this: It is not as tame and ordinary as it looks. While it starts up kind of cutesy, it turns into a dark and really gripping show with really, really good characters. It may appear cute and kawaii-desu at first, but it takes a totally different tone and route as you continue to watch it.
