ya that too but in Japão otaku is considered really bad....(as it means you're obsessed to the point where you don't have a life) weebo's are people could be described as try hard animê fãs who watch animê to impress animê fãs but there animê selection is so......well it only consists of naruto.
I'd still go with Otaku. It literally translates to just 'obsessed fan', so it can mean you can be overly-obsessed, or just minorly obsessed. I'm an OTAKU and perfectly proud of it!! HAHAHAHAHA!! XD\
Yeah but Otaku means you don't have a life....you're always at home, 'otaku' means home. i hate how mistranslated it has become and people are using it so lightly(i speak Japanese) so i don't refer to myself as one.... ^ have you only seen naruto? if so then yes you are.

First off nerd and geek is just a word,nothing more,it just depends if one chooses to accept it or not,second real friends don't purposely diss something their friend likes..sure everyone there own opinion on certain things,but there is such thing as going too far especially when it comes to friendship. friends are supposed to accept you for who you are,maybe they were joking at the time I don't know,the bottom line is real friends accept you for who you are,if they can't do that then they just aren't a real friend

Not necesarily true. I guess It just comes down to each persons own individual opinions. You can watch anime, and not be a geek/nerd. It's just like watching certain thing's on television, that other people don't watch. Like watching Animal planet, or the Discovery, or the History Chnl. Many people watch these sorts of thing's, and arnt geek/nerds.
I myself havnt really put a lable on what am. I am simply me, myslef. :) And even if you ARE labled a geek or nerd, does it really matter that much? I would be honored, to be called a geek or nerd. Means I'm smarter than the avarage bear.

But seriously, that's a rather broad stereotype. That's like saying girls can't like superheroes and wear rosa, -de-rosa all the time. When I was in kidnergarden I was always hanging out with the guys and we role-played spiderman and estrela Wars scenes. Just because you like something doesn't mean you're a nerd or geek. If it completely consumes your life, then yea, you've got a problem.
