What is your all time favorito animê moment?

I know this is a tough one, but I figure we all have that moment where we just stared at the screen thinking nothing but "...wow!" And here I'm talking only about moments - so this shouldn't include your favorito fight, since that likely lasted longer than a moment. I'm talking about pure bliss, maybe a single uttered sentence, perhaps just a motion.

For me, it's tricky. The ending to Cowboy Bebop where Spike holds his hand up before him like a gun and says "bang" was incredible. The scene in Fate Zero where Emiya hoists up a rocket launcher as a flock of seagulls rise around him was insane. I loved the moment in Code Geass when the FLEIJA goes off and Lelouch screams Nunnally's name. Watching Luffy's expression in One Piece as the scene unfolds before him of Ace with Akainu's arm punched through his chest was beyond words. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood had several such moments, and I would be hard-pressed to choose which I liked most.

But if I had to choose an all-time favorite, I'd have to say the death of Mami Tomoe in Puella Magi Madoka Magicka was probably that. Up until her death, we were basically led to believe that this would be a magical girl animê with cutesy girls testing out new powers and coming into their own, not unlike Sailor Moon. But we were treated to something special, and in that moment every fã watching gasped when they realized that this would be a far darker animê than they had expected, and that many of their assumptions would be torn asunder por the end.

My all-time favorito animê moment? Jeez, you really know how to ask a difficult question, Flame. I would have to say a few different ones, because I do have a lot of favorito animê moments for various reasons. Firstly, and fore-mostly, I have to mention the death of Ace and Luffy's reaction, then Whitebeard's response. Secondly, I have to mention the end of the Going Merry which was an awesome ship and it was sad to see the end of it after it carried the crew so far. Thirdly, I indeed have to mention Spike's last moments and the "bang!". Fourthly, (get used to this, because it could go on for some time) the moment where gin, gim realises that Aizen has not been killed por his Bankai and the recognition in his eyes as he is finally cut down. The fifth epic moment would have to be the last of the final fight between Clare and Priscilla, where Clare finally beats her. The sixth moment would be the last part of angel Beats, where Otonashi and Kanade finally are separated, but have their last moments together. There are also funny moments, however, like Luffy doing a 'Sanji' impersonation. Or Ichigo getting kicked through his door por Isshin. Or the comedic moments of Shinji Hirako. I guess my absolute favorite, ever, would be Ulquiorra's sword release. Epic - is the only word that can describe it.

That is actually why I amor Ulquiorra's first release so much. The green rain that followed, as well as the feeling of a "vastness" above the dome was just insane, easily my favorito moment in Bleach. Good moments, man, and I know it's tough to choose. If I just went through moments in the Big Three (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece), I'd have a tough time of it. Many series have managed incredible moments, so it's tough to pick and choose.

Heh, indeed. I wish I still had that fotografia of the 'green rain'. XD. Either way, I could have easily listed another ten or twenty, but I simply don't have the patience for that. Haha.

Well, I wouldn't call that a "moment." The fight wasn't exactly instantaneous, though I did like it. Is there a particular part you liked most?

So many from so many different sources...well, I'll just do one per anime/manga/light novel to make things easy for myself.

1) Campione! Watching the Campione of China, Japan, and America gathering finally to face Sun Wukong was a very excitable moment for me--one I've been waiting ages for. Two of the characters inspired me, while I like the name from the third. Hurray for main character referencing Japanese mythology in an ironic fashion! (Regardez la picture au-dessous!! XD)

2) To aru Majutsu no Index: Accelerator breaks out of the topo, início of the train he was on (if I remember right, it was on the Trans-Siberian Railroad, if not some other place in Russia) to face the attacking anthropomorphic suits.

3) Zetsun no Tempest: Every moment in this entire anime, save the end, is worthwhile, but I especially amor the moment Samon (who shares Kiritsugu's seiyuu XD) has a sort of verbal war with Shino, Hakaze, and Mahiro, slamming the butt of his katana's sheath on the ground in a dramatic fashion.

4) Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai: Several moments from here too, but after Kobato was away for so long, she returns to the club room por slowly opening the door and doing her character defining pose while in cosplay. Kashiwazaki Sena was not the only one squealing Kobato's name...

5) Fate/Zero: Difficult to choose here, but I have to go with when Alexander the Great rides down from the sky and proclaim his name to Arturia and Diarmuid before asking them to cadastrar-se him, which is practically heresy to the secretive and covert nature of the survival game. I freaking amor Alexander.

6) Stein's; Gate: All of Hououin Kyouma's (Okabe Rintarou) dramatic phrases work for me, but I especially amor the moment where he steps into the sky high building and immediately rushes over the laugh at the small figures of people in the streets below, despite the seriousness of the visit. I reccomend this animê to everyone.

7) Sakarasou no Pet na Kanajo: So many parts here, too, mostly thanks to Misaki, but I can say for sure that I amor the moment Misaki and Jin are already hopping over the fence to run from the pool once the nightguard spots the group on school grounds.

8) Girls un Panzer: The Australian captain proclaimed her philosophy for not sending all of her blindado, panzer against her enemy made me cry (of impressed joy). I don't completely agree with her, but the reasoning is so noble, I have to amor her for it, despite being a minor side character.

9) Baccano: Frankly? Every. Scene. Involving Issac and Miria. Watch it and you'll understand.

10) Durarara: Isaac and Miria's short cameo.

11) Soul Eater: The moment in the mangá where Death is saying how he believes in the witches and a moment later, a comet slams into his room. He immediately rages and curses the witches as only Death could, only to see it was just a certain character.

The rest couldn't fit, so meh. As a reminder, the picture below is for the first and most favorito moment.

*cough* Accel World, where Kuroyukihime tells the story about how she killed the Red King and it shows that legendary depiction of it to the perfect soundtrack. Denpa Kyoshi, where Junichirou has no critism for Kisaki-sensei's plans for her future. Tsubasa Chronicles wher everything finally MAKES SENSE! mais Zetsuen no Tempest, when the final true hint as to who the mage of exodus is is given to us. Magi, when Kougyoku shows up on the flying carpet. Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo, when the three main characters crawl out of the lake and give their character defining lines. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha...too many to choose from. Cuticle Detective Inaba, Noah's snap toward Gabriella. ...I'm not an otaku!!!!

Damn, I don't even know most of those and they sound epic. Quite the list, Fate Zero and Accel World had some great scenes, incredibly hard to choose.
