Actually it's also a Polish name, but it sounds a little bit differently, cause it's Dymitr. But well, if you'd go to east borders of Poland, you'd hear this name in Russian version which is Dmitry. :D So, Dimitri's name wasn't anything weired for me. :D

there was this guy named Demitri in my second grade class, so i had a year to get used to it, and i didn't even think it sounded weird then. it was spelled different though, and it suits animated Dimitri better.

At first, I thought the name was cute but now I find it just downright sexy. I seriously want to find me a Russian guy (preferably named Dimitri, but if not, that's fine) and name our son Dimitri. :)
You know..my friend knows someone who is from Ukraine...*evil grin* >:)
