 Fievel's Adventure
Fievel's Adventure
Hello everyone, this is actually my first review for 2019 and this is actually my segundo review on this particular Don Bluth's film aside from the 1997 film Anastasia, another film I grew to love. Ready?

The Story

So, the story takes place in the Russian Empire, in the reigns of Tsar Alexander III. A Russian-Jewish family rato are experiencing pogrom, so they decided to flee to America.
The Mousekevitz hopes that there will be no gatos in America and meets a lot of immigrants with the same impressions of migrating to America.
Unfortunately, Fievel got carried away when he lost his hat and due to a storm. In fact, I just can't stand him at all! Will write my reasons later on as to why I dislike his character.

The Songs

Once again, James Horner impressed us with the música and his song 'Somewhere Out There' have always impressed me since my childhood. It is also sad that it's been coming to 4 years already since his passing! We are all going to miss him.

The Characters

As promised, the reason why I dislike Fievel is because upon watching the reunited scene again. I cringe at his voice! In fact, his voice is really annoying throughout the entire movie, not just this particular scene.
Another reason why I dislike him is because he strikes me as the typical rebellious child who refuses to learn from mistakes, and I am counting the sequels as well, not just the first film!
The characters that I favour are Tanya, Tony Toponi and Bridget. The latter two somehow reminds me of Phillip Carlyle and Anne Wheeler from The Greatest Showman, in terms of their relationship. Except that they don't encounter racism and sing 'Rewrite the Stars' in the movie and considering the same time period that they live in!
Finally, Henri is my favourite minor character, mainly because he was voice por Christopher Plummer, famous for his role as Captain Georg Von Trapp in the Sound of Music.

Somewhere Out There

So, here is my review on this 1986 film and tell me what do you think in the comment box.
