A sound jarred me from my slumber. I had been sleeping since I laid down on the assento the anterior night, and noticed that I needed to urinate bad, this might be hard with my screwed up ribs. It was quite dark in the Bronco due to it being covered in snow, I could not see out but I knew there had to be a lot from the way it was coming down the night before. But putting that aside, I keened my hearing. Something had moved outside, I swore I heard something bump into my Bronco. I felt so relieved to hear her voice, it was like hearing an angel speak to me. I grabbed the door latch and pushed the door open, Kate jumped back just in time as the snow clinging to the door feel to the ground in a heap.
I looked at her and smiled, "hello there gorgeous!"
Kate gasped at the sight of me, "what happened to you!"
I remembered the crash and how I had dividido, dividir my lip the night before.
"I will tell you shortly Kate, here I need your help, my ribs are broken or something and I need to get out and pee. I just need you to make sure to keep me from losing my balance and falling, you may wanna go anthro."

"If I wasn't injured I'd go back and finish that piece of shit off!"

I had been staring at the ceiling of the Bronco while I was thinking, but put those thoughts aside, and craned my head to look at Kate. Eyes closed, ears drooping, mouth open slightly, breathing lightly. She must've been tired having to make her way through all that deep snow to find me. From time to time I would feel her body quiver against mine, sometimes she would mumble inaudible things in her sleep. lost in the world of dreams where her mind could be whatever it wanted. I wished I could be there too, but sleep just wasn't tapping me on the shoulder at that time.

"Well Kate, we need to get out of here, somehow, I don't know how for sure. Look especially for a semi with no trailer, I know one of those could pull us out, or a tow truck. Or you could venture to the nearest town and find help, but it seems that the closest one is miles away. "Alright then, well I better get up there and start fresh." Kate said sitting up, and fumbling around for her clothes.
I helped her snap her bra on, and relinquished my heavy casaco to her, I had the wool blankets now and would be perfectly warm without it. Although I doubted Kate would need it since she had all that wonderful pele, peles of hers.

A rush of cold air forced its way into the Bronco, it was biting cold outside. I had a good feeling Kate would find someone, I mean this was the Alcan highway after all, the main artery between Alaska and the States, they had to plow it at some point. Kate shut the door and I could hear her footsteps crunching in the snow as she ascended the hill.

Kate climbed and climbed up the hill, a few times she had to go on all fours to do it, grabbing onto snags of roots, and rocks poking through the snow. Hours passed as Kate waited, at one point she could have swore she heard a vehicle coming up the highway, but it must have turned off somewhere. To entertain herself, Kate would walk up and down along the road and chuck stones down the slopes and listen to the sounds they made as they hit the bottom. As bored as she was, this was good entertainment! One time she had gone back to check on Jon, he had been fast asleep under the warm covers, she wished she could be there with him. Kate sat down on her post again after one of her walks, finding stones to throw was getting hard since she had thrown most of them already. Kate rested her head heavily in her palms with a heavy sigh, would anyone come along? Kate closed her eyes, for some reason she was tired. There was still about four hours of daylight left before she would be able to go and snuggle up with her loving mate, but it seemed so far off, she wanted to be with him right now!
A loud roaring sound was starting to come to her ears. Kate opened her eyes, perked up and looked in the direction it was coming from. It was coming from somewhere down the road where she could not see. Kate stood and tried to see, but still couldn't. She could see black smoke rising up though, it had to be a semi. Kate wagged her tail happily, help at last! She just hoped the trucker would stop for her. To her relief, the truck appeared to be slowing down, and she could hear the driver shifting down to lower gears! The truck came to a halt seguinte to Kate, and she carefully walked around the front to the driver's side as the driver was stepping down out of the rig.
