Welll i like old cuz... The música waz fast and full of energy, even tho some songs had depressing lyrics. I also like how some of them were short and had weird topics, like Key lima, limão Pie (which u have here) or I Want A Mohawk (But Mom Won't Let Me Get One).
I like new cuz... Their songs have deeper meaing. **Now b4 i say anything, i have gotten bad things said to me for comparing AFI to the band im about to right now, so i am sry if u r mad.** Like Green Day, they first had lil songs about getting drunk and wat not, and now w/ American Idot and 21st Century Breakdown they start talking about the government. AFI doesn't talk about the government but they do talk about wat a difference pop culture is now. Like Davey said "Culture is at a crisus, look what passes for entertainment these days!" *cough*JonasBrothers*coughcough*
So yeah...im in between...

That's a good way of putting it, and though I'm not going to say they're like Green Day, they certainly are a changing and developing band. I like all their albums and all their songs. I have yet to find one that dissappoints me. Mostly I like the lyrics because they describe me in every way but one, and that one exception is described por the musicallity of their songs. I like old AFI for the same reasons you do, but I like new AFI because they demonstrate how to be yourself and be popular in one movement. Another thing is...if you listen to Medicate, you notice that there is double baixo drumming style, which is a version Adam last used on Black Sails. They are beginning to put old AFI and new AFI together to get something that is totally them! Let's just put it this way for now....AFI rules life.
Well I can't decide because it's still the same band although they keep changing with time. I amor everything about them. I loved them in the past, I amor them now, and I'll amor them in the future. btw, I amor your choice for the video. amor that song :)
are you kidding me??? new stuff sucks asshole. frist stuff to punk but in the middle black sails... sing the sarrow... blah blah blah is like fucking gospil!!!
