Adam vs Amber: Who do you choose?

Recently, Adam commented about the popular, yet controversal mtv show "Teen Mom" on his Twitter. Here's what he said:

He shared his opinion on Twitter, composição literária "This Teen Mom show on mtv is so depressing. I know it's 'real life' but shouldn't there be programming that inspires kids to shoot higher? #glorifyingwhitetrash". He added later to hinder any misunderstanding, "I'm not saying that all teen moms are white trash. Don't misunderstand. Yet, most of the ones on that show seem to be. I do, however, think they're are being exploited a bit."

After this came out, a lot of his followers became so angry at him, they suddenly decided to unfollow him. To me, that was really stupid of them! why in the world would someone backlash at him for speaking his own opinion? I think that goes to show that they care mais about a stupid show that teaches the glitzy side of Teen Motherhood than a singer like Adam who's actually a better role model than those skanks!

Adam's right, the show is depressing, but at the same time it teaches young girls that being a parent at a young age isn't a big deal, which it is. Look at those girls! they get arrested and neglect their kids. Also, Like Adam said, They're being exposed por mtv for, obviously, money. Who the hell would watch a show like that?! If you're going to follow someone like Adam and get angry over one little thing later on and simply decide to unfollow him, whats the point of being a fã of him in the first place??! I appalud him for being so honest and actually speaking out about it.

MadamOcta13 I agree with you and Adam; teenage pregnancies SHOULD NOT be glorified or justified. HOWEVER I understand why so many people are offended. Calling them "white trash" wasn't the wisest (or nicest) thing to say. Now think about this: "It's dumb to glorify whitetrash such as 'Teen Mom'." "People shouldn't be led to think that the lifestyles of the girls on 'Teen Mom' is an acceptable one." Both statements are the same thing, but one is simple and can easily be turned around and made offensive while the other elaborates a little more. That's the thing with Adam: he doesn't realize how he sounds until it's too late. I can understand why people would unfollow him. That's going to keep happening more if he doesn't get his foot out of his mouth.

JazzyJ14 Okay... I like teen mom, and all but adam is right. They are making it seem like teen pregnancy isn't that hard. And Amber from teen mom is the worst mom ever!!!!! And ppl shouldnt get mad at adam cuz when he kissed a guy everyone was tlks shit, and now that he's saying stuff about teen mom. Everyone again is acting stupid. So im all on adams side

KittyKat913 he nver said they wer white trash he said mtv made it seem like are. and adam (unlike other celebrities) dosent say or do what he thinks will get him props, he speaks his mind and as for the teen moms some of them dont take responsibility for wht they did (some of them do)
