5SOS to release first book after signing deal with One Direction's publishers

If you thought 5 Seconds of Summer\'s main talents involved waggling their crotches about and singing the kind of songs that make you want to run around with nothing but a pair of American Apparel underwear on your head, you would be right. But as well as all that, it turns out they\'ve had a secret dream that involves turning authors.

Lucky really, as they\'ve just signed a deal with HarperCollins, who are the publishers behind One Direction and Little Mix\'s autobiographies.

Following in the footsteps of close pals 1D, Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton have signed a megabucks deal with publishers HarperCollins for the worldwide rights to a brand new book all about them.

Chatting about why they were so keen to pin the lads down (not like that, unfortunately), Publishing Director Natalia Jerome said: "5SOS are a social media juggernaut and this is clearly the start of something very big.

"Their first book will be an absolute must-have for fans the world over this Christmas."

Although the name of the book hasn\'t been decided on quite yet, the title is set for release in October 2014 and will apparently contain more than 100 new photos of the boys as well as a whole load of their deepest, darest secrets.

Bearing in mind their off on tour with 1D again very soon, we\'d imagine a few of these pics will be taken on the road. So if you\'re listening Mr Photographer, can we put in a request for some sort of naked centrefold? If that won\'t work, we\'d settle for the four of them in their PJs putting little plaits in Ash\'s hair before bed.
